The course aims to help you to read and write Arabic letters and teach you how to spell the Arabic sounds in a very good and practical way. The course focuses on the four important skills; writing, listening, speaking and reading.

 

In this course, you will learn and practice how to write the Arabic letters from right to left in an accessible and relatively easy way. Your teacher will divide the 28 letters of the Arabic Alphabet into 6 groups to make it easy for the students to recognize and identify the letters.

 

In each class you will practice one of the groups in addition to learn new vocabulary and practice the sounds and phonetic in Arabic. The teacher will also give you dictation to test your listening skills and spelling skills as well.

You will also learn some basic words that are used in daily life in Arabic language. In addition to numbers from zero to ten and the days of the week and other vocabulary.

The first session will begin on the 20th of January and will run over 10 sessions every Monday. Each class lasts from 5:30pm to 6:30pm (UK time). There will be a free/pwyc taster session on Mondays 6th and 13th of January at 5:30pm book here. ​

This course is taught by Rana Kaddour, an Arabic teacher based in Syria.
